Google’s multi-platform vision for ebooks

Google eBooks enables readers to buy and access their books on a variety of devices. Google has been working to launch in Europe and beyond to give its publisher partners wider global reach.

Santiago de la Mora is the Director of Print Content Partnerships for Google in Europe, Middle East and Africa and as such he and his team manage Google’s relationships with large and strategic partners in the book publishing industry as well as those with newspaper and magazine publishers. Mr. de la Mora joined Google in early 2006 when the Google Books roll out in Europe was ramping up.  Prior to Google, he spent 6 years in content production and sales on behalf of newspapers and magazines, operating out of Spain. He also has banking experience having worked at Société Générale in their International Risk and Investment Banking divisions. Mr. de la Mora holds an MBA from INSEAD as well as a B.A. in Political Science from Yale and a M.A. in International Policy Studies from Stanford.
