Jonny Geller has been a literary agent for fifteen years, and is managing director of Curtis Brown’s books division, representing numerous best-selling and prize-winning authors, journalists and writers.
After working as an actor in early 1990s, Jonny turned to book agenting and joined Curtis Brown as an assistant before becoming an agent in 1995. He has made a name for himself by unearthing successful new talent and he spends his days talking to authors, selling new work to publishers and negotiating film deals with Hollywood.
He wrote a humour book in 2006 called Yes, But is it Good for the Jews? which was published by Penguin (UK), Bloomsbury (US) and Einaudi (Italy).
He is on the steering committee for World Book Night 2011 and the London Book Fair Advisory Board.
He was shortlisted for the British Inspiration awards in the media category for 2011,and shortlisted for Literary Agent of the Year Award in 2007, 2010 & 2011.
